    Fitzroy House is an original 1791 building imitating the designs of Robert Adam, the famous Georgian period architect who along with his brother designed Fitzroy Square. The house is one of the last remaining structures on the block that retains its original external architecture and now shows the life and work of L. Ron Hubbard. The house comprises four impressive floors, one of which is dedicated to an exhibition of Ron Hubbard's early life from boy scout to explorer. It also illustrates his career as one of the top fiction writers in the 1930s and 40s and his later achievements in the humanities. As he holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for Most Published Author (1,084 publications) one of the floors is appropriately dedicated to his literary works. We welcome visitors from around the world to step into this 1950s time capsule where they can view original manuscripts, rare edition books and artifacts relating to the life of one of the most prominent authors of the 20th century.     Launceston Place have their own unique version of a Chef's Table - The 'Chef's Office'. Guests can dine in their own private dining room, which adjoins the working kitchen and is linked - up with a live plasma screen TV. Guests have exclusive access to the adrenaline of one of London's most talked-about kitchens throughout a service and have direct contact with Head Chef Tristan Welch and his brigade of chefs, who will create a bespoke menu based on the day's market produce. Our experienced Sommelier will also be on-hand to recommend wines to complement each course. The Chef's Office can accommodate a minimum of 6 guests and a maximum of 10 guests. Private Dining & Hire Launceston Place is perfect for every occasion.     Wiltons is the oldest music hall in the world. The premises are available to hire for functions. Through the barley sugar columns one can hear echoes of George Leybourne and Champagne Charlie, Spike Milligan and Peter Sellers. The Krays was shot at Wilton's and Richard Attenborough filmed Chaplin here. It also provided the setting for scenes in tv adaptations of Wilkie Collins' The Woman in White, Trollope's The Way We Live Now and Sarah Waters' Tipping the Velvet. Neil Jordan shot Tom Cruise here for Interview with a Vampire and Annie Lennox recreated the world of Toulouse Lautrec here for her video No More I Love Yous. David Mamet filmed Harold Pinter, Rebecca Pigeon and Sir John Gielgud in Beckett's Catastrophe (Gielgud's last work). Most recently The Importance of Being Earnest, The Woody Allen Summer Project, Death Defying Acts and DeLovely were filmed here. Frankie Goes to Hollywood shot their famously banned video Relax here in 1981. Most recently we have hosted The Raconteurs, The Good The Bad and The Queen and Marc Almond. Over the last few years we have held a number of corporate events, dinners and client receptions. As you can see from the attached picture, Wilton's is truly atmospheric and can be lit and dressed for any occasion. We are able to offer gourmet catering, fine wines and bespoke entertainment, making for a quite unique and memorable evening for parties from 50 to 250. Our "Party Rooms" are large, contemporary spaces designed by Gage Interiors in 2005. They are ideally suited to events of up to 500 people (for an exclusive hire). General Manager Shelly Curtis managed all events at The Groucho Club in Soho prior to joining us last year. You will find a friendly but efficient team.
